Bharat Seats Board to announce record date for stock split, bonus

Bharat Seats Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 24, 2007, post the Annual General Meeting, to fix and announce, the record date for:

1. Sub-division of equity shares from face value of Rs 10/- per share fully paid into five equity shares of Rs 2/- each, fully paid, and

2. Issue of Equity Bonus shares in ratio of 1:1 i.e. one new fully paid Equity share for each existing equity share of the Company.

The stock was trading at Rs.156.05, up by Rs.4.25 or 2.80%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.157.95 and low of Rs.153. The total traded quantity was 3079 compared to 2 week average of 8498.
