Bank of Rajasthan Board recommends 1:4 bonus issue & 20% dividend

The Board of Directors of Bank of Rajasthan Ltd at its meeting held on May 12, 2007, inter alia, has recommended a dividend of 20% for the year 2006-2007.
The Board also recommended issuing bonus shares in the ratio of one equity shares for every four equity shares held to the existing shareholders who holds the shares on record date.
The stock closed the day at Rs.54, up by Rs.7.55 or 16.25%. The total traded quantity was 5579863 compared to 2 week average of 1420875. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.54.90 and low of Rs.45.50.
