Hero Honda Motors Ltd has announced the Audited financial results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 1950.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 2671.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Turnover (net of excise) has increased from Rs 22989.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 26840.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 8578.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 9713.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Turnover (net of excise) has increased from Rs 88702.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 100898.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The Board of Directors of the company has considered and recommended a dividend @ 850% i.e. Rs 17/- per equity share of Rs 2/- each for the financial year 2006-07.
