Novartis India confirms interim dividend of 200% to be final dividend

Novartis India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 11, 2007, inter alia, has consider the following: "Interim Dividend of 200% (Rs 10 per equity share of Rs 5 each) will be the final dividend."
The Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 13, 2007 to July 20, 2007 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on July 20, 2007.
The stock closed the day at Rs.323.10, up by Rs.3.10 or 0.97%. The total traded quantity was 19735 compared to 2 week average of 12535. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.329.40 and low of Rs.318.
