IOL Broadband ties-up with BBC for IPTV

IOL Broadband Ltd has announced about "the commenting on the tie-up with BBC, at the launch of BBC's CBeebies (Kids Channel) and BBC Entertainment channel on IOL IPTV. Mr. A S Oberai, Director, IOL Broadband Ltd stated that, BBC has collaborated with IOL Broadband for broadcasting of the said Channels on only IOL IPTV, which is currently available on the MTNL / BSNL ADSL networks.

By collaborating with an institution like BBC which is a global leader in news, media and content, we are looking forward to broadcast these two channels to our IPTV viewers with many more channels to follow from BBC.

IOL has also been appointed as authorised distributor for BBC Global Services to promote its channels across all IPTV platforms in India."

The stock was trading at Rs.455, up by Rs.17 or 3.88%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.459 and low of Rs.426. The total traded quantity was 251450 compared to 2 week average of 132226.
