Bajaj Auto Board to consider demerger proposal

Bajaj Auto Ltd has announced that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company scheduled to be held on May 17, 2007, inter alia, to consider, the audited financial results for the year ended March 31, 2007 and dividend for the said year.

The Board will also consider proposal for demerger at the said meeting.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2609, up by Rs.44.55 or 1.74%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2670.90 and low of Rs.2581. The total traded quantity was 99621 compared to 2 week average of 50066.
