Lupin Q4 net profit at Rs.137.08 crores, total income at Rs.646.4 crores

Lupin Ltd has announced the results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1370.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 501.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 4630.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 6464.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 3020.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1827.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 16786.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 21575.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The Unaudited consolidated results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 1411.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 6656.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The Audited consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 3085.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1729.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 17695.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 22127.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
