Mirc Electronics Q4 profit after tax at Rs.5.17 crores

Mirc Electronics Ltd has announced the Audited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 51.70 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 40.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2912.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 3951.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 341.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 327.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 12249.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 15179.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The Unaudited consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Group has posted a profit after tax of Rs 350.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 264.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 12378.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 15361.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
