Fire in Nectar Lifesciences Bulk Drug Plant at Mohali district

Nectar Lifesciences Ltd has announced that a fire has occurred in early morning on May 07, 2007, at Bulk Drug Plant of the Company at Unit I, Village Saidpura, Tehsil Derabassi, Distt. Mohali (Punjab).

The financial losses could not be worked out as detailed investigations are requested for the purpose. However, the plant has been fully insured to meet losses caused by fire.

The Company is taking the necessary steps to restore the normalcy of production.

The stock was trading at Rs.168.65, down by Rs.0.75 or 0.44%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.172.75 and low of Rs.168. The total traded quantity was 26581 compared to 2 week average of 80011.
