ACC Cement Production at 1.77 million tonnes during April 2007

ACC Ltd has announced the Company's production and dispatch figures for the month of April 2007. The total cement production during April 2007 was 1.77 million tonnes and the despatches were at 1.74 million tonnes. Whereas, the production and despatches in April 2006 were 1.66 million tonnes.

The company has produced 6.69 million tonnes during the period January - April 2007 and despatches was at 6.68 million tonnes. In comparison with January - April 2006, the cement production was at 6.58 million tonnes and despatches were at 6.59 million tonnes.

The stock was trading at Rs.868.35, up by Rs.16.10 or 1.89%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.880.20 and low of Rs.842. The total traded quantity was 145889 compared to 2 week average of 293428.
