Tata Sponge Board recommends 40% dividend

Tata Sponge Iron Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 03, 2007, inter alia, has recommended a dividend of 40% (i.e. Rs 4 per equity share) for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.122.20, up by Rs.3.25 or 2.73%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.124.40 and low of Rs.121.05. The total traded quantity was 53282 shares compared to 2 week average of 23671.
