Micro Technologies launches "MICRO OBB" for security of Office Premises

Micro Technologies India Ltd has announced the launch and availability of new and unique Global Office-Security product called as Micro OBB (Office Black Box) by the hands of Mr. Jayant Umranikar IPS, Commissioner of Police, Pune at a ceremonial function in Pune on April 03, 2007.

The Company has incepted some of the high-end security products, which address areas of concern right from automobile security to mobile security. In its quest of delivering high quality products to its clients, Micro OBB is a professionally designed and installed intrusion detection systems act as a deterrent to would-be thieves and vandals specialized for offices and the Company is targeting to install this product in to large and medium sized offices, banks etc. where security is of major concern.

Rapid growth in businesses often lead the owners to least bother about the security aspect of the infrastructure from external threats as well as anomalies. The introduction of this product is believed to strengthen the security vacuum in the office.

Micro OBB is a security system deployed in the office premises to alert the registered user of any unwanted access to one's premises. The Registered User is warned about this intrusion through an Alert Message. This security system works on the GSM technology. However, GSM network is essentially required for the functioning of the system. It provides the Registered User with various controls through Messaging Service. The Registered User is provided with a facility by the system, which enables to create additional 'ADD-ON' Users. These Users will also receive Intrusion Message on their Mobile phone if in an enabled state. The Registered User can assign this feature by using prescribed Messaging Commands. It is an effective and unique solution in which Registered User and the Add Users are intimated through Messages simultaneously. Apart from Messaging as a mode of intimation during any anomaly such as intrusion, smoke detection or Gas Leakage the system is also incorporated with audio effects through Siren, which is an additional facility to the system.

Addressing the ceremony Mr. Jayant Umranikar IPS, Commissioner of Police, Pune said that the initiation of the Company is very beneficial to all small and large offices and will ease out the tension of the law enforcing bodies such as police etc.
