FACT reports reduced Q4 net loss of Rs.20.81 Crores

Fertilizers & Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net loss of Rs 208.10 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared net loss of Rs 448.60 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has decreased from Rs 3919.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 3817.30 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net loss of Rs 1352.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to net profit of Rs 2356.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 14055.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 14809.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.22.10, up by Rs.0.10 or 0.45%. The total traded quantity was 3167 compared to 2 week average of 7789. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.22.15 and low of Rs.21.50.
