Alok Industries Q4 profit after tax at Rs.786.80 million

Alok Industries Ltd has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 786.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 346.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 4092.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 6094.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 1753.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1092.10 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 14258.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 18656.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The figures for the year ended March 31, 2006 are Audited.
