Ajanta Pharma Board recommends Rs.2 dividend

Ajanta Pharma Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 27, 2007, inter alia, has recommended the dividend @ Rs 2.00 per share, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting to be held on September 28, 2007.

The stock closed on Friday at Rs.73.25, down by Rs.0.40 or 0.54%. The total traded quantity was 5670 compared to 2 week average of 5751. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.75.90 and low of Rs.73.25.
