Container Corporation Q4 net profit at Rs.1692.40 million

Container Corporation of India Ltd has announced the Unaudited results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1692.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 1362.20 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 6916.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 8229.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2007: The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 6905.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 5258.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 24891.60 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 31144.20 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.

The figures for the Year ended March 31, 2006 are Audited.
