Marico allots 84600 Shares under Marico's ESOP Scheme

The Members of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of Marico Ltd have vide resolution passed through circulation on February 17, 2012 approved allotment of 84,600 equity shares of the Company of the face value of Re. 1 each under the existing Marico Employees Stock Options Scheme 2007.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid up share capital of the Company has increased from 61,48,49,787 equity shares of Re. 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,48,49,787 to 61,49,34,387 equity shares of Re. 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,49,34,387.

The Marico Ltd stock was trading at Rs.160.50, down by Rs.1.70 or 1.05%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.165.05 and low of Rs.157.80.

The total traded quantity was 0.64 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.67 lakhs.
