Idea Cellular allots 320263 Equity Shares

The ESOS Compensation Committee of Idea Cellular Ltd has at its meeting held on January 23, 2012, allotted 320,263 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options granted under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Post the said allotment, the Equity Share Capital of the Company stands increased to 3,307,748,103 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 33,077,481,030/-.

The Idea Cellular Ltd stock closed the day at Rs.93.35, up by Rs.5.95 or 6.81%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.94.40 and low of Rs.87.90.

The total traded quantity was 10.78 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 5.57 lakhs.
