Carborundum Universal allots 7000 Shares under ESOP Scheme

Carborundum Universal Ltd has allotted 7,000 shares of Re. 1/- each arising out of the exercise of stock options, granted to its employees under the Employees Stock Option Scheme 2007 on January 19, 2012. The exercise price in respect of these options was Rs. 91.80/- per share.

With this allotment the number of equity shares outstanding is 187,381,562 and the paid-up capital equity share capital is Rs. 187,381,562/-.

The Carborundum Universal stock closed the day at Rs.140.40, down by Rs.1.65 or 1.16%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.144.95 and low of Rs.140.
