AXIS Bank allots 116162 Equity Shares Under ESOP

The Committee of Directors of AXIS Bank Ltd has on January 20, 2012 made the allotment of 1,16,162 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each, under ESOP Scheme of the Bank.

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased to 41,26,90,962 equity shares from 41,25,74,800 equity shares.

The AXIS Bank Ltd stock closed the day at Rs.1008, up by Rs.56.15 or 5.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1020 and low of Rs.956.

The total traded quantity was 7.33 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.86 lakhs.
