Mcleod Russel equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Mcleod Russel India Ltd has announced that, pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta, a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on March 16, 2007, for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the proposed Scheme of Amalgamation of Doom Dooma Tea Company Ltd with the Company.
