Bharat Electronics Ltd Pays interim dividend of Rs.24 Crore

Shri V V R Sastry, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), presented the cheque for Rs. 24,27,58,400/- towards Interim Dividend for the current financial year (2006-07) to Defence Minister Shri AK Antony here today. The Defence PSU - BEL has declared 40 per cent interim dividend to its shareholders.

This is the third consecutive year that BEL is paying interim dividend. Shri Antony congratulated the Chairman and Managing Director for the excellent performance of the company and expressed the hope that company will keep it up. Shri K P Singh, Secretary (Defence Production) was also present on the occasion.
