Ganesh Housing signs MOU with Government of Gujarat

Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd has announced that on February 17, 2007 the Company has signed a MOU with Government of Gujarat for development of SMART CITY-Integrated Township at Village Godhavi & Garodia, Taluka Sanand District Ahmedabad on about 400 acres of land at an investment of Rs 2000 Crores. The Integrated Township will have High End Villas, Apartment facing Golf course, Hospitals, Business Towers, Hotel, International School, Helipad, Country Club and Shopping Malls & Multiplex Theatres.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Company and Government of Gujarat (GOG) (represented through Gujarat Urban Development Company Ltd) was signed Mr. Dipak G Patel, Vice Chairman & Whole-Time Director of the Company signed the MOU with Mr. K Srinivas, Managing Director of GUDC at Ahmedabad in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

During the Vibrant Gujarat Urban Summit 2007 Government of Gujarat has invited investment from the real estate developers to develop townships, participate in the construction & management of Utilities in the State of Gujarat and facilitate implementation of such projects / activities.
