Patni Computer ranked as global leader in engineering services by Global Services & neoIT

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that it has been ranked as the global leader in engineering services in a research study conducted by Global Services and neoIT. The Company has also been ranked second in the human capital development category and sixth in the Best Performing IT Service Providers in the same study.

The Global Services 100 is a tool for buyers of business and technology services. Judges from Global Services magazine in conjunction with outsourcing experts at neoIT, a consulting firm that specializes in services globalization, identify and evaluate the leading service providers located on four major continents.

Commenting on the award Mr. Mrinal Sattawala, COO of the Company said, "We are very pleased that our product engineering practice has received its due recognition as the global leaders in the engineering services section of this survey. Our Product Engineering business has delivered outstanding growth in the last 2-3 years and we continue to see excellent potential as we go forward."

The evaluation for Global Services 100 was based upon data provided by the service providers and third parties regarding effective operations, service offerings, client relationships and human capital. The methodology employed by the study to arrive at each Top List was based on a rigorous frequency analysis followed by a proprietary weighting system allocated amongst the four major categories. The weighting system considers the client's perspective during the buying process.

The Company has consistently received global recognition in delivering value through innovation in IT to its clients.
