Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that it has been ranked as the global leader in engineering services in a research study conducted by Global Services and neoIT. The Company has also been ranked second in the human capital development category and sixth in the Best Performing IT Service Providers in the same study.
The Global Services 100 is a tool for buyers of business and technology services. Judges from Global Services magazine in conjunction with outsourcing experts at neoIT, a consulting firm that specializes in services globalization, identify and evaluate the leading service providers located on four major continents.

The evaluation for Global Services 100 was based upon data provided by the service providers and third parties regarding effective operations, service offerings, client relationships and human capital. The methodology employed by the study to arrive at each Top List was based on a rigorous frequency analysis followed by a proprietary weighting system allocated amongst the four major categories. The weighting system considers the client's perspective during the buying process.
