GMR Infrastructure subsidiary DIAL awards IGIA Advertisement rights to Times OOH Media

GMR Infrastructure Ltd has announced that the Delhi International Airport Pvt Ltd (DIAL) has awarded the advertisement licence to Times Innovative Media Pvt Ltd (TIMPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Entertainment Network (India) Ltd (ENIL).

The license involves designing, setting up, development and maintenance of the advertisement locations for a period of three years. Under the license, ENIPL which operates under the brand name Times OOH Media would covers approximately 150 display sites inside the terminal buildings, approach roads, hoardings around terminals & advertising options inside the terminal buildings & aerobridges.

DIAL is a Public Private Partnership Initiative mandated to modernize and restructure the Delhi Airport. DIAL is currently building a modern airport with state of the art facilities for Delhi. The first phase of the airport would be ready with the completion of a new integrated terminal building in 2010. This new terminal will cater to both domestic and international passengers and will be capable of handling 37 million passengers per annum. Prior to that, a new domestic airline terminal and a third runway to complement existing two would be built by 2008.
