Pantaloon Retail to setup KPO subsidiary, Brand Management subsidiary

Pantaloon Retail India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 25, 2007, inter alia, has taken the following decisions:

1. Board has approved setting up of a wholly owned subsidiary in the name of Future Knowledge Services Ltd for the purpose of carrying business in the field of Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) / Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) dedicated to the retail industry.

2. Board has approved setting up of a wholly owned subsidiary in the name of Future Brands Ltd which will be foraying into Brand creation, development, management, licensing & managing Intellectual property rights for the Future Group.
