Suryadeep Salt Refinery to consolidate shares, change name

Suryadeep Salt Refinery & Chemicals Works Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 25, 2007, has considered and approved the following:

1. Consolidation of Equity Shares of the Company. Every shareholder holding 10 Equity shares of Re 1/- each will be allotted 1 equity share of Rs 10/- each.

2. Change of Name of the Company subject to the approval of statutory authorities and members.

3. Extra Ordinary General Meeting of the Company is going to be held on February 19, 2007 to obtain approval of members for the above purpose.
