Blue Dart secures award for Excellence in Financial Reporting

Blue Dart Express Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged the award for Excellence in Financial Reporting amongst entries received under the 'Service Sector' Category of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) Awards.

The Company received the Silver Shield at a special award function held at New Delhi in the presence of His Excellency Dr. S S Sidhu, Governor of Manipur.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Yogesh Dhingra, Finance Director and Group CFO of the Company said, "This is yet another milestone for Blue Dart. The ICAI Award confirms our commitment towards the pursuit of excellence, not limited to just the services we offer, but encompassing our complete business operations. We are committed to our stakeholders, and our financial reports are an important component in good corporate governance."

The awardees have been selected by a panel of judges on review of accounting practices adopted by the participating enterprises In the preparation of their financial statements.

The ICAI holds an annual competition for these Awards, which were initiated in 1958, with the objective of recognising and encouraging excellence in the reporting of financial information to promote better standards in the presentation of Information in published accounts.
