Hindalco Industries net profit after tax zooms to Rs.643.9 Crores

Hindalco Industries Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 6439 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 3362 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 29160 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 47146 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
