Suzlon Energy secures Order for 21 MW

Suzlon Energy Ltd has announced that Suzlon Energy A/s, Denmark (SEAS), the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has secured an order with Maestrale Green Energy of Italy for 21 MW to be supplied in 10 units of Suzlon´s S88-2.1 MW turbine.

SEAS has also secured an order with Tecneira - Tecnologias Energeticas, SA of Portugal for 39.9 MW of wind turbine capacity to be supplied in 19 units of the S88-2.1 Mw wind turbine.

Both the said projects are expected to commence operation in the second quarter of 2007.

With the signing of these orders, the cumulative international order book position stands at 670.9 MW.
