North Delhi Power participates in the Meri Dilli Meri Yamuna campaign

North Delhi Power (NDPL) has associated itself with the Meri Dilli Meri Yamuna campaign initiated by the Art of Living Foundation and UNESCO to clean the ghats of Yamuna. A total of 125 volunteers from NDPL have committed themselves for this cause. On March 17, 2010, on the first day of the week-long campaign at ITO, 29 volunteers went to the ghat at 7am with all the necessary equipment to clean the banks of the river Yamuna.

"We are proud of our employees who have decided to contribute in this initiative. It is also important that each one of us realise that betterment of the society and the environment can only be achieved by selfless acts such as this. We are confident that more people will come forward to make a difference in the days to come," said Sunil Wadhwa, CEO and ED, NDPL.
