Compact Disc India to repay HSBC dues

Compact Disc India Ltd (CDI) has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to repay the entire outstanding dues of The Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) from its internal cash accruals. This will facilitate CDI to release dividend @ Rs. 2/- per share for the Financial year 2008-09 immediately, subject to approval of the members.

The stock closed the day at Rs.57.20, up by Rs.3.95 or 7.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.58.70 and low of Rs.53.35.

The total traded quantity was 112848 compared to 2 week average of 47020.
