Spice Ltd Updates on Rights Issue

Spice Ltd has announced that the Rights Issue Committee of the Company at its meeting held on January 09, 2007, reviewed the status of the running Rights Issue (viz., issue of 3,73,19,000 Equity Shares of Rs 3/- each for cash at a premium of Rs 7/-; issue Price of Rs 10/- per Equity Share on rights basis to the existing Equity Shareholders of the Company; in the ratio of 1 Equity Share for every 1 Equity Share (1:1) held as on December 01, 2006 (Record Date) aggregating to Rs 3731.90 Lacs) which opened on December 11, 2006 and was to close on January 09, 2007. The Rights Issue Committee unanimously decided to extend the Rights Issue Closing Date from January 09, 2007 to January 29, 2007.
