Rajasthan Governor, Chief Minister visits Jain Irrigation facility in Jalgaon

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd has announced that on January 06, Her Excellency Srimati Pratibhatai Patil, Governor of Rajasthan and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Vasundhara Rajeji visited Hi-tech agricultural institute and food processing manufacturing facilities of the Company in Jalgaon, Maharashtra.

They took complete review of all the modern practices being followed at this Ultra Modern Agricultural hub. They were keen to know which technologies and practices can be implemented in Rajasthan. They were accompanied by a high Level delegation including Agriculture Minister, Agriculture Secretary and other officers. There were wide ranging discussion on various models which can be adopted to increase area under horticulture, water conservation, rain water harvesting, propagation of Micro-Irrigation, introduction of tissue culture and setting up of fruit and vegetable processing plants.

Hon'ble Chief Minister opined that there were lot of relevant technologies and new approaches which could be adopted in State of Rajasthan for betterment of its farmers and rural population. She invited the Company to start operations in Rajasthan. The Company's Chairman Mr. B H Jain committed to put lot of effort to promote these technologies in Rajasthan.
