Pantaloon Retail clarifies on news item regarding demerger

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading Financial daily titled, "Pantaloon to spin off mall division", Pantaloon Retail India Ltd has clarified that, the Company's Director has been quoted out of context pertaining to query raised by the journalist about seamless mall business / other business models.

Further the Company has informed that, the Board of Directors of the Company has not taken any decisions on the said business.

The article appearing in the financial daily is media speculation and as a policy the Company does not comment on the media speculations.
