Venus Remedies filed Sixth Patent for Imaging Technology Product

Venus Remedies Ltd has announced that the Company has filed its Sixth Patent Application to Indian Patent Office for the revolutionary Imaging Technology Product for Cancer Detection developed by its R&D department.

The Company had in-licensed the technology for the Diagnostic Imaging for Detection of Solid Tumors in human body from University of Illinois, Chicago in June 2006. With the help of this technical knowledge, in collaboration with Oxygen Therapeutics Inc., a Chicago based Research Company, the Research and Development wing of the Company has successfully developed the innovative Product. It would be the first product of this kind i.e. a painless and cost effective method for detection of cancerous growth and is projected to have great response from the markets around the globe. This present invention can be easily used in a low cost resource setting and would be a boon for the poor populations in developing economies.

The Phase III clinical trials of this product are in process and it is expected to be launched in 2007. The Company is expecting to generate healthy sales volumes from this innovative Product.
