Balaji Distilleries Updates on BIFR announcement

Balaji Distilleries Ltd has announced that the Hon’ble Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) has declared the company as Sick in terms of section 3(1)(o) of the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985 vide its order dated December 28, 2006 received by the Company on January 04, 2007.

The Hon’ble BIFR has appointed IDBI as Operating Agency to prepare a viability study report and revival scheme for the Company.
