Zicom Electronic - Zicom Consumer Service Group launches its first exclusive flagship retail store in India

Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd has announced that Zicom Consumer Service Group, the latest venture from the Company opened their first retail outlet, ´Zicom´ in India. With the launch of this store, Zicom has marked the brand’s foray into exclusive retailing and, also as the country’s first exclusive retail outlet of the company. Kapil Dev, the legendary cricketer and one of reputed shareholders of the Company inaugurated the store.

´Zicom´ - the retail store, situated at Thane and occupying a space of 500 sq. ft. exhibits the complete range of products from the Consumer Service Group. The store showcases the latest products and technologies from Zicom - Zicomhome and Zicombusiness along with a host of complementary products and peripherals. To give customers new hands on shopping experience, the store has been designed in an open display format.

Speaking on the occasion, Kapil Dev said, "I am very delighted to be a part of this auspicious event. With the launch of this store, the Company has achieved another milestone and has added a feather on its cap. At the same time, I am very confident that this store will live up to the demands and expectations of the people by offering the best of services."

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Santonu Choudhury, CEO, Consumer Service Group, of the Company said, "This is the first Electronics Security Systems showroom in the country. With the launch of this retail outlet, we aim to reach out to the consumers in a better manner and provide them with the product experience even before they buy them. It is a great place to come and experience the entire range of products and other accessories under one roof. These stores are an attempt to offer consumers with an interactive and informative shopping experience and the perfect ambience to touch and feel our growing range of products."

With its sprawling space, elegant interiors and courteous store staff, the store provides the customers with an ultimate shopping experience. The ‘minimalistic and contemporary’ interiors, achieved with the use of light colours and soft lightings add to the store’s grandeur. The interiors of the store has been done up to highlight the products on display and emphasize on space made available to test the products before customers can buy them. Special wall units display the product range, the collage offers a peak into the various emotions associated with Zicom while the translide explains the functions of each and every product.

The store which is on franchisee basis sells directly to the end user by giving them an experience of touching and feeling the products. The store is facilitated to provide demonstration of the products, excellent after-sales-service; handle day-to-day enquiries of the customers, up-selling and annual maintenance. The acceptance of monthly payment of Central Monitoring Service (CMS) and Video Monitoring Service (VMS) bills will also be done here.

As a part of aggressive expansion plans, the Company plans to open more 15 stores in and around Thane and 100 across the country by the year end. Apart from this, over 600 outlets would be opened across the country in next 3 years.
