GAIL CMD selected Fellow of World Academy of Productivity Science

Gail India Ltd has announced that Shri Proshanto Banerjee, Chairman & Managing Director, of the Company, has been selected as Fellow of the prestigious World Academy of Productivity Science.

The Canadian based Academy represents the intellectual capital of the World Confederation of Productivity Science and comprises of a distinguished group of persons who are committed to raise the standards of living of people across the globe through productivity enhancement. Shri Banerjee will be formally inducted into the Academy during a special ceremony on October 9, 2006 at the 14th World Productivity Congress being held in Shenyang, China.

The World Academy of Productivity Science acts as a trans-national forum for discussions on policy and infrastructure development and also contributes significantly to the development of productivity science.
