ICICI Bank seeks EGM approval for amalgamation of The Sangli Bank Ltd

ICICI Bank Ltd has announced that an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the members of the Bank will be held on January 20, 2007 to accord approval to the amalgamation of The Sangli Bank Ltd with the Bank with effect from the date on which the Scheme of Amalgamation is sanctioned by RBI or such other date as may be specified by RBI, subject to necessary provisions and approvals.
