Aurobindo receives "Asia Star 2006 Award" for Packaging Excellence

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd announced that the Company is awarded "Asia Star 2006" award for Packaging Excellence. This award is presented for excellence in packaging product designed for US markets called Compliance pack. The pack is developed keeping in mind the compliance of the patient, consumer friendliness, child resistant and eco friendliness. The pack provides convenient once a day dosage form and the direction & calendar guide to the patient through out 30 days. The pack is approved by US FDA for Citalopram Hydrobromide Tablets and Mirtazapine Tablets.

The Asia Star is an Award awarded by Asian Packaging Federation (APE), a non profit organisation, established in Tokyo, Japan in 1967, to unite the packaging interests of all trades and industries in the Asia Pacific region and beyond, under one co-operative umbrella.
