Sun Pharmaceutical Redeems 6% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has announced that the Company has redeemed at par 73,894 number of 6% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Re 1/- each amounting to Rs 73,984/- pursuant to the offer of redemption provided from October 01, 2006 to December 31, 2006, under second lot out of the total paid-up Preference Share Capital of Rs 1,39,00,690/- consisting of 1,39,00,690 - 6% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Re 1/- each, thus reduces the Preference Shares from 1,39,00,690 to 1,38,26,706.
