KEC International Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged four new orders aggregating to Rs 151 crores. Of these three orders worth Rs 106 crs are from UAE whereas one order worth Rs 45 crs is from Ghana. Details of the orders are as follows:
UAE:
1. M/s Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, Government of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates have awarded a contract for supply and construction of 220 KV D/C over head lines of 39.5 KM from Hamriya to Al-Tay.
2. M/s Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, Government of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates have awarded a contract for supply and construction of 400 KV D/C over head lines of 7 KM near Abu Dhabi.
3. Further M/s Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority has also awarded a variation order for replacement of OPGW for 278 kms.
Ghana:
The Company has also bagged an order from Volta River Authority, Ghana for constructing a 330 KV S/C Transmission line spanning over 215 Kms from Aboadze Thermal power plant to Volta switching station. With this order the Company will re-enter the Ghana market after a gap of many years.
