Crompton Greaves acquire Hungary company

Crompton Greaves Ltd has announced that the Company late night on July 25, 2006 has concluded an arrangement for the acquisition of the Transformers, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Rotating Machines and Contracting businesses of Ganz Transelektro Villamossagi Zrt (GTV) together with the business of Transverticum kft (TV) engaged in the supporting areas of design, erection, commissioning and commercial activity, both located in Hungary, at an approx. Enterprise Value of EURO 35 Million.
