Mr Anup Bagchi, Executive Director - ICICI Securities comments on SEBI proposal to increase trading session

Mr Anup Bagchi, Executive Director - ICICI Securities Ltd has provided his comments on proposed increment in trading sessions by SEBI.

"The way to develop markets is to find out client needs for various segments, create value and then deliver it. In a world where events are happening 24X7 and which has impact on the portfolios, a larger trading window will help mitigate risk better for the portfolio managers, give more opportunity to trade for the traders and help keep the markets onshore. There is a real possibility of market moving offshore if the needs are not met," said Anup Bagchi, Executive Director, ICICI Securities Ltd.
