Marico Q3 consolidated Net Profit up at Rs 50.89 Crore

Marico Limited has announced the standalone Results for the quarter ended on 31-DEC-2008 as follows: Net Sales of Rs.50044.98 lacs for quarter ending on 31-DEC-2008 against Rs. 41559 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-DEC-2007. Net Profit / (Loss) of Rs. 5171.7 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-DEC-2008 against Rs. 4023 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-DEC-2007.

The conolidated Net Sales was at Rs. 62275.55 lacs for quarter ending on 31-DEC-2008 against Rs. 50624 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-DEC-2007. The consolidated Net Profit / (Loss) was at Rs. 5089.05 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-DEC-2008 against Rs. 4587 lacs for the quarter ending on 31-DEC-2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.59.85, up by Rs.1.15 or 1.96%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.60.40 and low of Rs.58.

The total traded quantity was 287936 at an average price of Rs 59.12 resulting in a turnover of Rs 170.23 Lakhs.
