Gail India fixes Record Date for Bonus Issue

Gail India Ltd has announced that for issuance of one bonus share for two equity shares held, the 'Record Date', has been fixed for October 07, 2008. The proposal has also been approved by the Shareholders in their meeting held on September 04, 2008.

The stock closed the day at Rs.420.55, up by Rs.15 or 3.70%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.424 and low of Rs.402.45.

The total traded quantity was 1269526 compared to 2 week average of 218505.
