Aarti Drugs Limited Announces Leadership Transition to Strengthen Governance and Ensure Long-Term Strategic Growth

Aarti Drugs Limited (ADL/the Company), one of India's leading API pharmaceutical companies, today announced key changes to its leadership team. The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on July 31, 2026, approved the elevation of Shri Rashesh C. Gogri to Chairman in addition to his existing role as Managing Director and the appointment of Shri Adhish P. Patil as Managing Director, both effective October 1, 2026.

The changes, made on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, mark the next step in strengthening ADL's leadership bench as the Company builds on its manufacturing scale, R&D capabilities and customer relationships to pursue its next phase of growth.

Shri Prakash M. Patil, who has steered the Company as Chairman since 2014 and has been associated with ADL since its inception, will step back from his executive responsibilities as Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from the close of business hours on September 30, 2026. He will continue his association with the Company for the purpose of providing guidance, strategic support and for smooth transition.

Shri Rashesh C. Gogri has been associated with the Company as Managing Director since September 2014, having earlier served as Whole-time Director from October 2012. He holds a degree in Production Engineering from Mumbai University and brings more than 27 years of experience in Production, Marketing and Project Implementation in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. He also serves as Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of Aarti Industries Limited and as Chairman of Aarti Pharmalabs Limited.

Shri Adhish P. Patil has been associated with the Company as Chief Financial Officer since April 2014 and has played a pivotal role in the Company's growth and operational excellence, leading its finance, technical and commercial functions. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (IT) degree from Mumbai University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business Administration, where he graduated as a gold medallist. He has been named to the 'Top 100 CFOs India 2014' list and, in 2024, to the 'Top 20 CFOs in India' list published by StartupLanes. His appointment as Managing Director is subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

Commenting on the leadership changes, Shri Prakash M. Patil, Chairman, Aarti Drugs Limited, said: "It has been the privilege of my professional life to help build Aarti Drugs from its earliest days into the company it is today. I have complete confidence in Rashesh and Adhish, and in the strength of the team we have built together over the years. I look forward to continuing to contribute by providing guidance, strategic support and ensuring smooth transition, while supporting the Company's next phase of growth."

Shri Rashesh C. Gogri, Chairman-designate, Aarti Drugs Limited, said: "Aarti Drugs has always stood for scientific rigour, quality and dependability - values I have had the privilege of helping shape over the past decade as Managing Director. As Chairman, I look forward to build on this foundation, deepen our capabilities across our API and formulations businesses, and pursue the opportunities ahead of us with the same discipline that has always defined this Company."

Shri Adhish P. Patil, Managing Director-designate, Aarti Drugs Limited, said: "I am honoured by the Board's confidence in me. Having spent over a decade with Aarti Drugs across finance and operations, I have seen first-hand the strength of our people, our manufacturing capabilities and our customer as well as other stakeholder relationships. I look forward to working with the entire team to sharpen our execution, deepen our competitiveness and create lasting value for all our stakeholders."

The leadership transition does not alter the Company's long-term strategic direction. This realignment is aimed to create a natural evolution of ADL's governance framework - one that balances continuity with renewal. By elevating leaders who have grown within the organisation, the Company preserves deep institutional knowledge, technical expertise and long-standing customer relationships, while positioning itself to act with greater speed and clarity across manufacturing, R&D and commercial functions. The change reflects a well-structured approach to succession planning and long-term value creation, ensuring that experienced stewardship and fresh strategic thinking work in tandem as Aarti Drugs scales its operations.

Shares of Aarti Drugs Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 423.50 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 412.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9820 in over 381 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 425.50 and intraday low of 412.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4114849.00.
