Prohibition Order: On July 20, 2026, the company informed stock exchanges regarding a prohibition order issued by the Inspector of Factories, Puducherry, in relation to the affected plant.

Pollution Control Board Closure Directives: On July 22, 2026 (at 6:24 PM IST), the company received a formal order from the Puducherry Pollution Control Committee directing that operations at the EDC manufacturing plant be closed down forthwith and not resumed until further orders are issued by the authority.
