Aurobindo Pharma Limited today marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of TheraNym, one of India's largest dedicated biologics contract manufacturing organisations (CMO). Ahead of the ceremony, the Directors of Aurobindo Pharma and the senior leadership team of MSD called upon Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy, briefing him on the project and expressing their gratitude for the Government's steadfast support. The TheraNym Biologics facility was then inaugurated by Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Hon'ble Minister for IT, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs of Telangana, and Shri Damodar Raja Narasimha, Minister for Science and Technology of Telangana - a gesture that reaffirms the Government's unwavering commitment to positioning Telangana as a global centre of excellence in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

The facility is strategically located in Borapatla approximately 45 minutes from the Hyderabad's bustling Financial District and is equipped with 15 KL bioreactors, advanced downstream processing suites, aseptic fill-finish capabilities, and quality control laboratories. TheraNym has been designed with international regulatory expectations in mind. The facility is intended to support MSD supply chain, both domestic and export markets, subject to applicable approvals and customer requirements.
